This summer, A Child’s Hope Int’l will be launching a brand new summer backpack program for school-aged children in Cincinnati. We are thrilled to be teaming up with Queen City Kitchen, Cincinnati’s oldest soup kitchen, to help 200 children survive the summer weeks with weekly nutrition and hygiene products.
Childhood poverty is real and children in our own neighborhoods are hungry. Many children rely on school assistance programs that provide daily meals in school and a small supply of items to help get through the weekend at home. When school breaks for the summer however, children are left without those critically needed meals. This is why A Child's Hope Int'l has partnered with Queen City Kitchen to care for 200 children in the Over the Rhine neighborhood this summer.
Along with Hands Against Hunger™ food pouches, we will filling backpacks with strategically selected items that Queen City Kitchen has identified as foods children can easily and independently prepare. Can you help children in Cincinnati this summer by giving a gift that will be used to purchase supplies for the program?
Our first fulfillment of backpacks will take place around May 22 and last for twelve weeks. The children need our help! Please consider giving today.
